Completing the week of 'Healthy to be me' Year 1 have read a story about 'Smartie the penguin' staying safe when using the internet. The children produced some great eye catching posters on Purple Mash.We then moved onto Road Safety, keeping us safe when walking, rules about crossing the road, 'stop, look left and right and listen' (only when accompanied by grown ups), also how to use pelican and zebra crossings. The children created their own road system, with traffic lights, roundabouts, pedestrian crossing, a busy system!
The day ended with a big skipping fest!
