A busy first week back!

This week we have been busy retelling the 3 little pigs. We have been using a story map to help remember the sequence and write it down. Next week we will use the story maps to help us change the story.

In maths we have been estimating and measuring using unifix, rulers and metre rulers. We have been comparing objects and saying which one is taller/ shorter.

Thank you so much to everyone that bought in the home learning we discussed the history of transport yesterday and why we don't use those vehicles now.

Finally, the children have all come home with spellings. As I mentioned at parents evening, spellings are a fantastic way to learn at home. We encourage the children to break the words down in to sounds to spell and then write. I am looking forward to seeing the practice sheets next week!
