Year 1 Home Learning

It is STEM week (Science Technology Engineering and Maths) from the 19^th to the 23^rd June.

TASK: Design and MAKE a new invention

• You could create an incredible spinner like we did in class, but adapt it in some way... 
•  You could invent something brand new!
•  You could look in a Science book and create something based on an invention in there…

Think about why things are invented: they are to help us in some way, or to make our lives easier in some way……could it be a kitchen gadget, a camping tool/gadget, something for school, something for pets……be as creative as you like!

Your invention needs to be in school by the Thursday 22^nd June, because you will be showing your parents and the Year 4’s at our Mad Scientists Inventions Fair!

At the Fair you will have the chance to show and explain your inventions/creations and can come along to school dressed as a Mad Scientist.
