Growing vegetables!

In Year 1 this week we have been gardening! We have weeded our raised bed and sowed our winter spring onions.

We have also started to use the polytunnel. We have planted our potatoes into three tyres which we will water and stack to make tyre towers of delicious potatoes! A big thank you to Poundbury Garden Centre for donating the 9 bags of compost for us to make these. The children have really enjoyed getting involved with preparing the soil and land for planting and being in the garden area.
