Eco week update- 3.3.16

This week we have been doing lots of learning linked to eco schools. The children have learnt about Fairtrade this week which makes the link with global citizenship. They know how farmers grow and sell bananas and have sequenced this in writing.

They have also been making their very own ISS by recycling kitchen rolls. Thank you to all of the parents that have helped with the making of these, they look great. Once we have all of them we are going to send Tim Peake a tweet.

Year 1 have also been thinking about how to stay healthy. They have grouped foods in to some that you should eat a little of and food you should eat lots of. They have also made fruit kebabs!

This morning we have been tidying up the willow arch and weeding our raised beds.
