Y1 Forest School Update

How lovely for Year One to be coming to Forest School on Thursday afternoons! Last week Year One had a tour of the site and learnt our rhyme “No Pick, No Lick, Be Careful with that stick!’ to help us stay safe outdoors. This week we will be focusing on The Very Hungry Caterpillar to celebrate World Book Day!

 
We had a great time exploring the mud kitchen, finding bugs, using chalk and making nature portraits. We can’t wait to continue exploring over the upcoming weeks!

Please remember the weather is still unpredictable so children should have wellies and coats for all forest school sessions please! 

Donations HELP!

To help develop our forest school area we rely on donations! Now the rain has stopped we need a water source for our mud kitchen – we would love a water butt to reuse the rainwater to make potions, recipes and other creations!
