Well the Phonic "Check" is now complete and although there were no surprises I am very pleased with the results. So Well Done to all the children in Year 1 and I do hope that none of them were aware that they were being "checked".

Another type of check has been brought to my attention this week - the need for regular checks of the children's hair as there has been other cases of "Nits" in class. So please do comb through your child's hair and if necessary treat the offending little creatures, thank you.

As it rained heavily today the children spent lunch playtime inside.
I hope tomorrow is dry for those on Mr. Farrington's trip to Arne, still whatever the weather they will have a good time.
