Over the last 2 weeks we have been looking at different shapes. The children have looked for 2D shapes in the environment and counted how many corners and sides they have. This week we have been focussing on 3D shapes. I was really impressed with how many 3D shapes the children remembered and their descriptions of the shapes.
How many different 3D shapes can the children find in their homes? Maybe they could draw some pictures of the objects and write the shape.
