Last week in maths the children were measuring length using non standard units such as cubes and a ruler. This week in maths the children will be weighing and comparing weights of objects.
On Tuesday (9am) I will talk through the phonics screening check that we do. So please do keep on practicing spellings with your children and encouraging them to write and read. When they do writing at home please support them to use the sounds on the sound mat they have already learnt.
In History last week the children learnt all about the Lord Nelson and the importance Dorchester was in delivering the importance news of the victory.
