On Thursday Year 1 went to the farm. They saw where the hens lived and got to feed them. They also saw the farms new addition. The chicks were incubated and hatched on Easter Monday.
After we looked at the chicks Year 1 went and saw the cows in the cow shed and learnt about the different type of cattle they have on the farm.
Then we went in to the lambing shed to meet the new arrivals. There were lots of lambs in there the children could look at up close and everyone seemed to really enjoying looking at them.
