I can't believe we only have one day of this academic year left. It has been an absolute pleasure working with and getting to know you and your lovely children. Your children have impressed and inspired me with their positivity, resilience and adaptability. Since first working with them in January, I have observed them all become more confident, make progress in their learning and thrive despite all the challenges they have faced.
Thank you, parents and carers for welcoming me into year 1 and for your open communication with me, which was particularly impressive given the short time we knew each other before lockdown. Collaboration between teachers and parents and carers is always important but this year it has been especially so. This year feels like a parent /teacher team effort and I think we can all be proud of how we rose to the challenges of virtual school.
To the children:
We love each and every one of you and we are so proud of what you have achieved this year. Thank you for the laughter, fun, dancing and fabulous questions and stories.
Remember, Mrs Barrow, Mrs Bernard and Mrs Howell will be with you in class. Miss Street and Mrs Cura will be next door and me and Mrs Rogers will be just be two doors down in year 4.
Wherever we are, remember that we will always be here for you.
Lots of love,
Ms Browne, Mrs Cura, Mrs Barrow, Mrs Howell, Mrs Bernard & Mrs Rogers. xx
