Four weeks left.....WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE?!

Hi all, hope you are all well and not feeling as emotional as I am that we only have 4 weeks left together!!

Firstly, I want to say that I am so incredibly proud of how amazing every child was in our class assembly!! I cannot believe how confident they were and how well they delivered their lines. I hope you all enjoyed it. We loved it!!

We have got an EXTREMELY BUSY four weeks ahead of us in the lead up to the end of the year. Next week we have;
Monday - Class photos (please make sure your children are looking presentable for these). An extreme bike show which I can't wait for!!
Wednesday - Mrs Long's Darts day where there will be a range of Dart's activities available across the day.
Thursday - Transfer day, where children will be going to their new class for the morning and meet their new teachers! Then in the afternoon it's sports day which starts at 2:10pm. All parents and carers are invited to join us (socially distanced).
Friday - IT'S DANCE DAY!!!! This starts at 2:30pm. Parents and carers are invited to watch this (socially distanced).

If you have any questions about any of this please let me know.

We have been lucky enough to also have a great volunteer in our classroom called Miss Cowls who is going to be a trainee teacher in Year 2 next year. She will be working between Year 1 and 2 for the rest of the year. We also have the amazing JoJo who has been virtually listening to our children read weekly.

Please can you make sure that all children are coming into school with sun hats and sun cream on when they weather is sunny and hot. Also, please can you ensure all children have their PE kits in school for Sports day!

As always, thank you for your continued support! Any questions, please catch me in the morning or afternoon or send me an email.

Miss White and the incredible Year 1 Team x
