Hi Year One Families,
We are so excited to welcome children into year one tomorrow morning. We have our first Parent Information session on Tuesday 9th September at 9:00 in the staff room where I can't wait to tell you all about life in Year one.
Tomorrow will be a settling in day, we have lots of lovely activities planned to help children settled into their new classroom. We will be spending lots of time exploring where things are and what fantastic things we can do together.
Please can you ensure that all jumpers, cardis and water bottles have a name on them. It is very difficult to keep track of 31 jumpers and water bottles.
Please can children bring wellies and PE kits by Monday, don't worry if you don't have these ready for tomorrow we won't be using them tomorrow.
We will be taking things at the children's pace over the next few weeks and will spends lots of time getting to know each other building our learning adventure.
Please do see me on the door if you have anything you would like to discuss.
Children can bring their own snack from home as long as it is a healthy snack and fruit will always be available.
Please ensure that book bags are brought into school everyday, book bag books will be sent on a Friday with a short optional home learning activity.
This blog will be updated at least once a week with all the upcoming information please do be sure to check it regularly.
We are really looking forward to getting started on our learning adventure together.
