This morning the children had to be detectives and ask questions about a crime scene! Over night someone had been in the hall and made such a mess! There were bowls, porridge, straw and a basket thrown on the floor with some ripped red material. But who did it?! The children had to use their question openers to write as many questions as possible. We had lots!!!
In maths today we have been doubling. The children were able to double numbers to 10 and starting to do beyond this which was great to see. They used counters and 100 squares to help them.
It was a very chilly forest school today so we kept active by making dens. We looked at the story of where the wild things are and van had a warm drink which was much needed in this weather!!
