Y1- Tarantula skins!

This morning the children got to see some tarantula skins that had been shed. These were fascinating as they looked like the tarantula was still there! The class were grouped in fours today to produce a poster on mammals, amphibians, reptiles, birds and fish. We learnt all about the differences in the groups of animals.

In maths we have been looking at partitioning numbers so that we know how many tens and ones are in a number. For example what the number 2 in 25 is. They have also been reading and writing numbers to 100.

The beautiful weather is meant to be here for the next fees days! Please can we have the children sun creamed  before school and sun hats in. Water bottles will be filled up throughout the day. If you do send sun cream in please give the named bottle to a member of staff as they are kept in a safe place.
