The start of our Literacy week..

This morning we got to watch the beginning of Syra's story. The children enjoyed watching the performers dancing and listening to the loud drums!

Today is the beginning of our Literacy week. We have started to look at Kit Wright's  'The Magic Box' poem.

All of the children will be making their own boxes and thinking about what will be in it! During group reading this week the children have a chance to relax in the Teepee we have put outside the classroom. There are many other dens around the school and at break time there are a range of literacy based activities that they can get involved with.
