Let's dive into the summer term!

Hi everyone, we are all so excited to see you tomorrow!! One more term in Year 1 left!! I can't believe how fast this year has gone!

Just a few reminders as we go into the summer term;

- As the weather heats up please can you ensure children are coming into school with named water bottles and a named summer hat.

- We ask that you apply sun cream before children come into school. If this isn't possible please send in a named sun cream with a slip filled in. Without this, we will not be able to apply sun cream to your child.

- PE kits will need to be in school by Wednesday as this is when our first PE session is.

This summer term is going to be amazing! I can't wait for you to see what we are going to be up to!

Miss Bridge is also back with us for the summer term!

Any questions about anything, please email me or catch me at the door in the morning or afternoon!

See you all tomorrow,

Miss White, Miss Bridge, Ms Dainton, Mrs Howell and Mrs Hibberd

Happy Easter!

We've made it!! I can't believe we have come to the end of our second term in Year 1. This year is flying by! Your children have all been absolutely amazing and I hope you all have a great Easter break.

We haven't sent home learning or spellings home as we want the children to relax/recharge as much as as possible. However, if you do what your child to do some sort of home learning, they could keep a diary of what they have been up to during the Easter break.

If you have any questions over the break please email me, however, my responses might be a bit slower than usual.

Happy Easter!!

AMAZING ASSEMBLY!

Hi everyone, hope you have had a great weekend!

I just want to say how amazing all your children were in the class assembly. I am so incredibly proud of each and every one of them. I have seen a huge growth in their confidence and I hope you saw this too during the assembly. Thank you for coming to watch.

We also had a GREAT farm trip this week. We looked at the pigs, cows and also went into the lambing shelter where we saw lots of lambs who had just been born. We got caught in a hail storm on the way back to school. The children loved it!!

We are now starting the last week of the Spring term! Where has this year gone?! Please can you have a look at home to see if you have any RWI books/library books that need to come back in before we break up.

We also say goodbye to the AMAZING Mrs Dewey this week as she will be finishing her placement with us. Her last day in Year 1 is on Wednesday. We wish her so much luck with her teaching career and will miss her!

See you all tomorrow,

Miss White, Mrs Dewey, Ms Dainton, Mrs Howell and Mrs Hibberd!
