Che Che Kooley!

We have received some fabulous home learning over this week.  One of the children bought in a snail, we looked closely at it and could see the antennae moving.

Somebody from Year 1 also went home and built a lego model of some insects.

CHALLENGE

From now on, if you create a model or object please don't forget to write about it! What is it? Where is it from? How did you make it?

Practising your handwriting is very important in Year 1.  We often have pages of very neat work, like the page below.  A child knew they had to get better at 'f' so practised at home and look at the great result...

Yesterday in Music we learnt a new African song called Che Che Kooley.

The children were fantastic at singing this song, especially in rounds.
