Forest school spring term session 1

Today was our first session of Forest School for the spring term. After exploring the grounds and measuring the depths of puddles I read a story to the children.

Where the wild things are is a fantastic adventure story about a character called Max. The children looked at the beginning of the story today where Max built a den. They worked in pairs to build their teddy a den. We had some amazing outcomes and the children worked so well together!

 

We will spend the next 4 weeks looking at the book and making various objects.
