This week in Literacy we have been learning about speech bubbles and speech marks. The children have been writing their own sentences about a story. In maths we will be doing lots of timed challenges to see how long they take so that we can record the time.
Today Year 1 and Reception teamed up for a 'resilient' session. There were 6 activities set up which would challenge the children. They had to work together to ignore the distractions, become absorbed and persevere. They all worked extremely hard so well done!
This afternoon half of the class started the DT topic wheels and axles. They have designed their own car and will get to make it next week. The other half of the class worked with Mrs Hall on some Andy Goldsworthy inspired art work which looks fantastic!
