Hello everyone! I hope you've had a lovely weekend and are feeling ready for another week in Year 1.
We have been incredibly busy again in the Year 1 classroom.
On Monday we took part in the bikeathon where children rode their bikes or scooters around the school. The children loved being able to be on their bikes or scooters in the school. On Tuesday we were lucky enough to have a taster session of Taekwondo. The children loved this and there were a few who mentioned they would like to start classes. On Wednesday we had a special assembly with Adam Sevenoaks who came in to talk about his disability and how this hasn't stopped him with his sporting life. On Friday we had DANCE DAY! Although I wasn't there to see them do their dance, I heard that they were absolutely amazing!
Coming up this week we have a special assembly from Beth Tweedle, Darts day, bump up afternoon where children will be coming up with me into Year 2 and learning about how Year 2 will be for them. To finish off the week we will be taking part in golf football.
Another busy week in the Year 1 classroom!
